This is some exciting news, y’all! Marisamade stickers are going to be in the WV State Park gift shops!
WV State Parks has always been on my list to work with since I began wholesaling my work. A few weeks ago, I received a request to turn my landscape paintings into stickers to be sold at several of their gift shops.
Within 8 hours, I had 9 new sticker designs to present to them, plus the WV Floral sticker that has been around for several years. This may be one of the fastest things I ever turned around! I am so glad they asked for these stickers because it gave my paintings a new life.!
Can I share something with you that not many people know (but now they will?)
Many years ago, I tried to sell my WV sticker to the state parks, but it didn’t work out. It may have been that I only had one design. I saved their contact info, and added them to my wholesale email list when I started on FAIRE 2020. For several years, I would email all my contacts all of my new work. Now, in 2024, after building up my product line, we are working together!
I like to think of this story to show how perseverance and hard work pay off. It doesn’t happen overnight, in my case, it was years, but it did happen when it was supposed to!
